Aquatic Warbler Experts meet in Brodowin

On the 14th of April our LIFE-Project organized a three day symposium at Brodowin to enable an exchange about the rarest and most endangered bird species in our Project – the Aquatic Warbler. 50 participants from 13 different countries came together as the “Aquatic Warbler Conservation Team”, representing all countries of the distribution area and managers of the most important breading, migration and wintering sites. During the meeting the experts evaluated completed and ongoing projects as well as planning further LIFE-projects. Together with the Life-Project Schreiadler Schorfheide, the ecovillage society “Ökodorfverein Brodowin e.V.” took care of the invitation and organization of the symposium.
